because of the internet debacle (see previous post) i had to drive to buffalo, mn on friday to swap out my cable modem for one that works. i had never been to buffalo, and because charter kindly gave me the wrong address for their office i ended up doing some exploring.
i learned a few things!
- you can buy beef 3 miles north of here, on hwy 25. on a gravel road. (i guess?)
- buffalo is cute and there is a lake w/more ice houses than actual land houses in town
- it’s hard to get lost in buffalo but i managed to do it, because i’m awesome
- montrose, mn is basically an intersection
i wasn’t expecting the thick beautiful fog and the photographicalness that i encountered, so i only had my iphone. it conveniently put its camera in night goggle mode and didn’t stop until i got back home:
i’m not sure what that’s about. that night i saw the fog setting in again so i was excited to have another chance to go out the next morning in the frost and fog. unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as foggy, but i had a nice field trip. i took a few photos AND managed to solve a coding question in my head on the drive.
